King Husain of Jordan and Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin ended thestate of belligerency between their countries at their Washington summit, aswell as agreeing on a number of practical steps which take Israel and Jordanmore than half way to peace (and probably beyond the point of no return).However, their recognition of a Jordanian role in the Muslim holy sites inJerusalem has created a potentially major rift between Jordan and the PLO....
