Algeria Boosted Oil/Gas Reserves In 1993
Algeria's remaining proved recoverable oil reserves registered asignificant increase of 780mn barrels last year, rising from 9.20bn barrels in1992 to 9.98bn barrels in 1993, according to data made available to MEES by theAlgerian Ministry of Industry and Energy (for tables, see pages A4-6). At thesame time, gas reserves rose by 102bn cu. ms. from 2,780bn cu. ms. in 1992 to2,882bn cu. ms. in 1993.
