Correction
Al-Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC) has informed MEES that it hasnot awarded a drilling contract to the Hungarian state-owned Lowlands PetroleumExploration Company, contrary to the report in MEES, 31 August, page 11. AFPCsays that it has "no dealings with this company."
