19 Oil and Gas Discoveries in FY 1991-92

Writing in a recent issue of the EGPC's monthly magazine al-Bitrul, EgyptianOil Minister Hamdi al-Banbi said that a total of 19 oil and gas discoveries weremade in Egypt during the fiscal year July 1991-June 1992, which tested at acombined rate of about 200mn cu. ft./day of gas, 11,000 b/d of crude oil and4,000 b/d of condensates.
