Badri Appointed Energy Secretary in Libyan Cabinet Reshuffle
Mr. 'Abd Allah Salim al-Badri, the Libyan Secretary of Petroleum, has beenappointed Secretary of Energy with responsiblity for the petroleum andelectricity sectors which have now been merged into one institution. Theappointment is part of a major reshuffle of the country's cabinet announced bythe General People's Congress (parliament) held at Sirte on 16-19 November.
