Egypt Will Request Time Extension to IMF Adjustment Program
Egyptian officials have still not been able to convince the IMF that theyhave met the economic targets outlined in their IMF-agreed structural adjustmentprogram or that they are committed to implementing agreed policy changes according to a specific timetable. As a result, Egypt is expected to request anextension to the program, which expired on 20 November....
