MEES learns that the Saudi-owned Nimir Petroleum Company (NPC) - which iscurrently developing the Shabwa oilfields in Block No. 4 in the Yemen - hascompleted the acquisition of the assets of the Russian firm Petrosakh Ltd.,which include the company's interests in Petrosakh Joint Venture, a Russian firmoperating an oil and gas concession in the Pogranichni basin on Sakhalin Islandin Eastern Russia....
