Tunisia's Belli Oilfield Comes on Stream
Tunisia announced on 14 November that the Belli oilfield in Nabeul provincehas come on stream. An estimated 3mn tons of crude oil are expected to beproduced from the field during the next seven years, and current output isbetween 10,000 and 12,000 b/d. The field was discovered by the US firm Marathon,a unit of USX Corporation, in June 1991 in its Grombalia permit. The Belli-1well tested at 6,800 b/d of 48 API crude...
