Spain to Lend $500mn for Trans-Maghreb Pipeline
Spain is to lend Algeria $500mn towards the cost of the trans-Maghrebpipeline, which will carry gas from Algeria's Hassi R'Mel field via Morocco toSpain. Work on the 1,255-km. pipeline is due to begin in early 1993.
