AFESD Loans $68mn to Tunisia for Sidi Berrak Dam
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) and Tunisia signeda loan agreement on 3 December under which Tunisia will receive KD20mn ($67.7mn)for the completion of the Sidi Berrak Dam, which forms part of a water projectin the northern part of the country. The dam will hold 200mn cu.ms. of water.The loan is for a period of 22 years at an interest rate of 4.5%....
