Rafsanjani Inaugurates Isfahan Petrochemical Complex
Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani inaugurated the Isfahanpetrochemical complex on 17 January. The complex has an annual productioncapacity of 161,000 tons/year and will produce benzene (75,000 t/y), toluene(20,000 t/y), orthoxylene (22,000 t/y) and paraxylene (44,000 t/y). Feedstockwill be supplied by the Isfahan refinery.
