Libya's Iron and Steel Company (Lisco) awarded in late January a $224mncontract to a European consortium led by Austria's Voest AlpineIndustrieanlagenbau to undertake the third stage project at its Misurata complexbringing the plant's steel production capacity to 2mn t/y.
