Albaraka International Fails Regulation Hurdle And Leaves London
London-based Albaraka International Bank Ltd. (AIBL) is to surrender its UKbanking license due to its inability to fulfill supervisory requirements of theSecond Basle Banking Concordat. The bank announced on 1 April that it wouldbegin repaying all depositors and that it had the liquidity to do so.
