UN Renews Sanctions Against Libya
The UN Security Council on 8 April renewed its sanctions against Libya foranother 120 days. The sanctions were put into effect a year ago on 15 April 1992when Libya refused to turn over to the US or UK two men suspected of involvementin the bombing of Pan Am flight 103 in December 1988.
