Turkey Will Import 3Mn Tons Of Iranian Crude Oil During 1993

Turkey announced on 22 April that it will import three million tons (60,000b/d) of Iranian crude oil during 1993. Of this, some 720,000 tons (14,400 b/d)will be credited to offset Iran's $80mn debt with the Central Bank of Turkey.During 1992, Turkey purchased 2.46mn tons (49,200 b/d) of crude oil from Iran,paying $333.4mn.
