SAFCO's New Plant To Start Commercial Production In July
The Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO) has announced that its newfertilizer plant at Jubail, which is currently test producing, will startcommercial production on 1 July. The plant, which has an annual design capacityof 600,000 tons of urea and 500,000 tons of ammonia, has cost some SR1.6bn($427mn).
