Abu Dhabi/Sharjah Agreement On Gas Settlement Close
Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are close to agreement on a new contract under whichAbu Dhabi will pay Sharjah for gas which it supplies to other northern emirates.Few details of the new agreement are available, but MEES understands that itwill be worth around Dh200mn-300mn ($54mn-82mn) a year to the Government of Sharjah.
