Shell Makes Second Oil/Gas Discovery In Obayed Permit
Shell Egypt has made a second oil/gas discovery in the Obayed permit inEgypt's Western Desert, according to the Cairo daily al-Ahram of 4 August. Thewell, Obayed-3, tested at a rate of 3,000 b/d of light 45ø API crude oil and5.7mn cu. ft./day of gas.
