Budget Calls For 9.5Bn Bond Issue
The Iranian government has included a provision in this years draft budget for the issuance of up to 9.5bn in bonds for the financing of major infrastructure projects, Mehr News Agency reported on 24 January. Of this, some 5bn has been earmarked for the Ministry of Petroleum for the completion of ongoing projects, and in particular the South Pars gas field development.
