Central Bank Of Kuwait Cuts Interest Discount Rate Again
The Central Bank ofKuwait is to cut its discount rate by 0.5% to 6.25%, the third cut in the ratewithin the last six months. The discount rate provides a benchmark against whichmaximum rates on loans and deposits are set. In April the Central Bank cut therate to 7% from 7.5% and in July cut it to 6.75% (MEES, 19 July).
