Jubail Refinery Shut Down for Maintenance
Saudi Arabia's 300,000 b/d refinery at Jubail on the Gulf coast has been shutdown for a six-week routine maintenance. Maintenance work at the refinery - a50-50 joint venture between Saudi Arabia and Shell - started last month and theplant is scheduled to be back on stream before the end of October.
The refinery's regular maintenance was postponed twice last year owing to theGulf crisis.
