Oman's 1989 Oil Operations

Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) - owned 60% by the Omani Government, 34% byShell Petroleum Company Ltd., 4% by Total Compagnie Francaise de Petrole S.A.and 2% by Partex Oman Corporation - increased its production in 1989 by 15,000b/d to an average of 616,000 b/d compared to 601,000 b/d in 1988 (see, MEES, 7August 1989 for a summary of the 1988 Annual Report).
