Chevron Seeking To Develop Turkmenistans South Yolotan Gasfield

Chevron has disclosed that it is holding discussions with Turkmen officials regarding the development of the countrys giant South Yolotan/Osman gasfield. According to an assessment of the gasfield made by UK-based Gaffney, Cline and Associates, the area contains natural gas reserves ranging from 4 trillion to 14 trillion cubic meters (MEES, 26 October).
