Othman Appointed Acting Director of SOMO

Dr. Fadhil Ali Othman has been appointed Acting Director of Iraq's State OilMarketing Organization (SOMO), replacing Mr. Adil al-Hassun. The latter wasappointed SOMO's Acting Director last April but has not been confirmed in thepost and has returned to his previous position as Deputy Director of the AuditBureau.
