Rumaila Bombings Fail To Dent Iraqi Oil Export Levels

Production managed to recover within days of a double explosion on pipelines at the giant Rumaila field in Iraq on 7 October and at no point were oil export levels impacted. Shipping data obtained by MEES show 1-12 October crude exports at Basra running at around 1.8mn b/d, some 100,000 b/d higher than recent monthly averages.
