Exploration Drilling in Jordan

MEES has been informed that Amoco Jordan Petroleum Company (AJPC), whichacquired a 7.5year production-sharing agreement covering two blocks in Jordanwith a total area of 10,950 sq. kms. in April 1986 (MEES, 7 April 1986) - blockNo. 4 in the Jordan Valley/Dead Sea area and block No. 1 in the central part ofthe Eastern Desert - has completed its first exploratory well in block No. 1,which was shut down as a dry hole.
