KUFPEC Increases Share in Tunisian Permit

The Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), a wholly-ownedsubsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), has acquired Elf's 15%share in the North Kairouan permit after the latter's withdrawal from theventure. Tunisia's ETAP now holds a 55% share and KUFPEC 45%.
