AID FLOWS
Sudan Receives Aid from Japan, IDB and EC
Sudan has recently received around $17mn in aid as follows: from Japan, $9mnfor the implementation of agricultural projects as well as $5mn for air safetyequipment; $2.24mn from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to finance threetraining centers in drought areas; and approximately $820,000 from the EC forthe transport of provisions to Juba in the south where famine is spreading.
