French Companies Sign for 100,000 b/d Saudi Contract
It seems that the two leading French companies - Total/CFP and Elf/Aquitaine- have now signed with Saudi Arabia for a crude supply contract for 100,000 b/d(50,000 b/d for each company). This is double the 50,000 b/d volume (25,000 b/dfor each company) under the previous contract. The new contract is for onlytwo months' duration, April and May, in the first instance.
