Iraq Plans to Increase Sulfur Output from Mishraq Deposits
Iraq will commission this month a new $55mn sulfur/sulfuric acid production plant at its vast sulfur deposits site at Mishraq in north Iraq, from which it is already producing some 500,000 tons/year of sulfur by the Frasch process.
