Elf/Aquitaine Resumes Drilling Operations in South Yemen 

Elf Aquitaine Petroleum (EAP), a subsidiary of France's Elf/Aquitaine, has resumed drilling operations on its first wildcat Balhaf No. 1 in South Yemen after having suspended work last January owing to the political turmoil in the country at that time.
