Majlis Rejects IJPC Agreement 

The Iranian Majlis (Parliament) has rejected the agreement worked out last year between Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and the Mitsui-led Japanese consortium the Iran Chemical Development Company (ICDC) under which work was to have been resumed on the joint-venture Iran Japan Petrochemical Company (IJPC) petrochemical complex at Bandar Khomeini on the Gulf coast.
