Yemen LNG Resumes Operations

Total-led Yemen LNG has announced the restart of operations at its 6.7mn tons/year Balhaf liquefaction plant on the Gulf of Aden after completing repairs on the 38-inch feed pipeline damaged by an attack carried out by suspected al-Qa'ida militants on 14 May (MEES, 21 May). “Yemen LNG Company confirms that it has restarted normal operations on 23 May, after pipeline repair,” the company said.
