Kuwait Realizes $47Bn Budget Surplus
Kuwait posted a record KD13.2bn ($46.7bn) budget surplus for the fiscal year ending March 31 earlier this month, due largely to a period of both increased oil production and higher oil revenues, Kuwait-based consultancy Al-Shall said, citing Finance Ministry figures.
