Syria’s Budget Deficit Set To Double For 2013

Syria’s 2013 draft budget, approved on 23 October by the cabinet, projects a widening deficit from 2012’s levels, with a 36% drop in revenue to S£634bn and only a 4.3% increase in expenditure to S£1,383bn.
