Iran Crude Importers Secure New US Waivers
The US has announced the extension of waivers exempting nine countries still importing Iranian crude oil from US sanctions aimed at derailing Iran’s disputed nuclear program.
This comes as the Obama administration exposed and blacklisted a number of companies it believes are acting as ‘front companies’ for the Iranian regime as it looks to circumvent international financial and trade restrictions.
