Seoul Seeks To Sate Mideast Supply Needs
South Korea’s appetite for Mideast Gulf crude remains unabated, according to the latest official import figures. Asia-Pacific’s third biggest oil importer remains the most dependent on Gulf supply of East Asia big three consumers – China, Japan and South Korea.
Only China has made meaningful strides to reduce reliance vulnerability to Mideast supply shocks.
