US House Says Iraq Not To Use US Cash For OPEC

The US House of Representatives on 17 October voted, in a voice vote, to ban Iraq from using US funds to participate in OPEC activities. The amendment was attached to an $87bn emergency spending bill for Iraq which the House then passed. The amendment says: None of the funds made available in this act may be used for the participation of Iraq in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. MEES soundings...
