Iraq Announces Near-Term Production Capacity Plan

Iraq is aiming to increase oil production from an average of 2.0mn b/d in November to 2.3mn by end-December and around 2.8mn b/d by the end of 1Q 2004, according to a statement distributed by Iraqs delegation to the OPEC meeting in Vienna on 4 December (see full text below).
