Borouge To Expand Capacity Of Ruwais Plant; New Projects Planned
Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) announced on 15 December that it will invest $40mn in a debottlenecking scheme to increase the capacity of polyethylene production from 450,000 to 580,000 tons/year. The project, which includes the expansion of material handling facilities, is scheduled for completion by 2Q 2005. Borouge will assume full offtake of the existing 600,000 tons/year capacity...
