Market Should TightenIf OPEC Maintains Current Output, Says CGES
OPECsoutput cut has helped lift crude prices and tighten the sour crude market,according to Londons Centre for Global Energy Studies (CGES). In its latest MonthlyOil Report, published on 18 February, CGES says that if OPEC maintainscurrent production levels, the market should tighten significantly in thesecond half of 2002 as global stock-cover falls.
