Sudan AndChina Sign Upstream, Pipeline Agreements

Sudan and China have signed several agreements on upstream cooperation in Sudan, including a deal to construct an oil pipeline from the Block 6 oil fields in the central province of Western Kordofan to the Khartum refinery, where it would join up with the main export pipeline that runs from the Block 5 Heglig fields to the export terminal at Port Sudan (MEES, 19 August).
