Repsol YPF Divests Assets To Germanys RWE-DEA

Repsol YPF has reached an agreement with Germanys RWE-DEA whereby the latter acquires Repsol YPFs equity in four blocks in the Nile Delta. The agreement takes effect as of 1 January 2001, subject to approval by the Egyptian Government, and to the pre-emptive rights of the other partners in the blocks.
