Dana Strikes Oil In Egypts Nefertiti Prospect

Dana Petroleum has discovered oil on its offshore South October concession in the eastern Gulf of Suez. The Nefertiti-1X well was drilled to a total depth of 14,150ft, encountering 65ft of oil-bearing sands. During a drill stem test the well flowed at a maximum stabilized rate of 1,343 b/d.
