OPEC August Production Rises to27.57Mn B/D

Production by the OPEC memberstates rose to 27.565mn b/d in August from 27.245mn b/d in July (MEES,20 August), due largely to increased production from Iraq. However, productionby the OPEC 10 (excluding Iraq) fell sharply in August because of lower Iranianvolume.
