UNLifts Sanctions Against Sudan
TheUN Security Council voted 14-0 on 28 September to lift sanctions imposed onSudan in 1996 for failing to turn over three suspects wanted in connection withan attempt on the life of Egyptian President Husni Mubarak in Addis Ababa inJune 1995.
