Bouhafs Reappointed Chairman Of Sonatrach
The Algerian Government on 10 January appointed Abdelhak Bouhafs Chairman of state-owned Sonatrach in place of Abdelmadjid Attar. Mr Bouhafs was born in 1945 and from 1974 to 1983 was an employee of Sonatrach. From 1984 to 1988 he worked in the Ministry of Energy and Mines, becoming chief of cabinet for the minister in 1988-89.
