EIU Expects Syria To Resume Economic Growth This Year
Syria is expected to resume economic growth this year following two years of recession, and possible peace with Israel should mean a boost to private investment and consumer confidence in 2001, according to the Economist Intelligence Units (EIU) latest Country Report, 1st Quarter 2000.
