Badri Appointed NOC Chairman

Former Energy Minister 'Abd Allah al-Badri has been appointed chairman of Libyas National Oil Corporation (NOC), MEES confirms. NOC, which has been tasked with the responsibility for Libyas oil and gas industry following the abolition of the energy ministry in the government restructuring which took place last week (MEES, 6 March), will report directly to the Prime Ministers office.
