Shell Makes Two Oil Discoveries In Syria
Following a dry spell of several years, Syria Shell, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Dutch Shell group, registered two oil discoveries in November, reporting that it had logged oil in one exploration well, Younes South 101, and flowed oil in a production test of another well, Athaman 101. Both wells are located in the Zenobia Contract Area, where Syria Shell is the operator and is partnered by Veba Oil and Gas....
